The study was conducted on students of primary schools for the people of the displaced provinces ( Anbar, Tikrit and Mawsil ) who are suffering in their housing overcrowding and low living standards and low level of health. This study depends on the analysis of recorder information in special document (questionnaire) prepared for this purpose and includes some demographic factors such as age , gender , socioeconomic level , occupation , head hairs long and education level of parents…..etc. The total number of samples was (2170) students, (371) student were infected, their ages were (6_14) year.The number of infected samples were registered by direct examination with the naked eye for the heads of the students, the number of lice instars were recorded by using magnifying hand lens and the lice instars were isolated from infected samples using special combs to remove lice from an infected hairs.The results of this study reveals highly significant differences in pediculosis prevalence between male, and female which was (19.41 , 80.59)% respectively. The results reveals also that high number of infections were in the ages (7, 6, 9) year which was (20.49 , 19.14 , 12.2)% respectively.It reveals also that there is highly significant differences between infected students and head hairs long, high infected cases recorded in long hair students compared with short hair students which was (55.53 , 44.47)% respectively.We also found that the family size has significant effect in pediculosis prevalence, high infections was in family size (9 and more person) compared with family size (3_5) person which was (44.47 , 13.21)% respectively.The study also showed presence of highly significant differences between pediculocides which are used in lice killing , Nyda and Kwell-p are more effective in killing ratio (80.43 , 75.96)%, while the lotion Tic-Tac revealed less killing ratio (38.46)%.And it is found that the factor (live with relatives) is the most important factor for the transmission and prevalence of pediculosis between students, the ratio of infection is (33.15)% compared another factors.

Read More ... :The present study sheds light on knowing the spread of klibsilla oxytoca Bacteria in (100) soil sample taken from the regions of AL-Jazeera ,AL-Taameem, AL-Khaldiya , AL-Sufiya and AL-Habbaniya .The ratio of the existence of these Bacteria ranges between 12-88% . The results indicate that all samples contain klibsilla oxytoca Bacteria ;and (36) isolate has been obtained form these Bacteria . The study also includes the evaluation of the effeiency of isolates in foxing Nitrogen .It is appeared that the highest quantity of foxing Nitrogen reaches at (1.3) mlg Nitrogen / 100 ml . by local isolation klibsilla oxytoca J3 .When studying the effect of different concentrations of NP and Urea fertilizers on the growth of isolate in the solid and liquid cultures from the vrem point of colonies diameters and numerical density, the result show the ability of this isolate on the growth at the addition of a quarterly concentration (83 and3.2) per million to NP fertilizer and Urea fertilizer respectively . the diameter .Colonies that grow in the solid culture is ( 2,2,5,3,2,3,4,4,and 3) ml ,respect rely ,during the periods g incubation (144,120,96,72,48,and 24)hour . While the nureoced density reaches at (9.21,9.23,8.98,8.74,7.93,6.98)Log/ml .The results eg .Biology experiment proved the efficiency of this isolate in foxing Nitrogen . Appeared in all the features g plant , (plant weight ,plant length , plant content of nitrogen and chlorophyll ) ,that are studded in the treatment in which isolate mixture is used with quarter of concentration (3.2, 83) per million to NP fertilizer and Urea fertilizer respectively . The results state that the mixture of isolate with a quarter of recommendation is able to foxing Nitrogen at a rate of 4.43 mlg Nitrogen / plant . while the soil content of total Nitrogen is 120.63 mlg/kg and the 8.09 microbial density Log/g soil . It is found that the best rote to these plant ,in this treatment reaches (20 , 74 )in the plant bight and rote con respectively and the dry weight reaches at ( 178 ,16.2 ) mg /plant

Read More ... A total of 1200 sampls of various swaps in Maternity and Children Hospital in Ramadi were collected during summer season;1/5/2004 - 30/10/2004. Sources of isolation included the hospital environment ( the floor, patients, beds), the internal air, air of ventilation pipes belonging to the hospital conditioned system with it’s two floors. The samples of the four source groups mentioned above consisted of 400 samples taken from the internal surfaces of air conditioning pipes and 400 samples from the air of internal hospital halls and 400 samples from the hospital inanimate environment such as ground and beds. The study was carried out with ten attempts. Each attempt included ten departments of the hospital. After isolation and identification of the isolates , the followings were found : -The Majority of the microbial isolates were found to be of bacterial origin with a percent of (85.6%) in the whole microbial isolates. -Fungal isolates took the second class with a percent of (8.9%) . -Some of the isolates recorded mixed cultures (bacteria and fungi),but undiagnosed like gram positive rods and fungal threads.Thier percentage was (5.4%) . -Aspergillus sp isolates were found to be predominant among the diagnosed mycotic agents (61.1%) while Candida albicans came in the second range (38.9%). -Gram negative bacteria possessed a higher percentage among other bacterial types which had a percent of 67.5%, while the percentage of gram positive bacteria was 32.5% . -In gram negative bacteria, Klebsilla pneumonia was the highest among the others, its percentage was 16.5% ,while Providencia bacteria was the lowest type with 0.9% . -Coagulase negative Staphylococcus had the highest percent which reached 14.3% , while the α- hemolytic Streptococcus had the lowest percent among the G+ve bacteria which reached 2.7% . -According to the results obtained, the internal surfaces of the airconditioning pipes consisted the highest microbial growth (bacteria, fungai and mixed isolates) in comparison with the isolated smears of the inner air of rooms, grounds and patient's beds. Also, the ground deck in the hospital had the greatest level in microbial pollution in comparison with the first deck.
